Deputy Store Manager

The objective of the role is to assist the Store Manager to improve the commercial performance of the store. Deputising in his absence, you will manage the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and excellent store standards to maximise sales and profitability.

You will work alongside the Store Manager :

• Leading by example, motivating and developing the store team.
• Ensure performance targets are achieved giving your team feedback on their accomplishments.
• Working within and assisting with the compliance of all legislative requirements with regard to Health and Safety, Trading Standards, Sale of Goods Act etc

To be successful you should have :

• Worked in a similar fast paced retail environment either at Department, Assistant or Deputy Manager level and possess good leadership skills.
• The ability to achieve agreed targets through the effective performance management of your team.
• The enthusiasm to drive your own development ready to progress through to the next level as Store Manager
