Determination, agile fingers, and an alert mind are required for Screwball Scramble, a cleverly designed tabletop obstacle course game. The object of the game is to move a small steel ball through eight hurdles as quickly as possible by hitting, pushing, and turning buttons or pulling and twirling levers. The orange, brown, and beige obstacles sit compactly on a blue plastic unit 30 cm long, 25 cm wide, and 15 cm tall at its highest, and the controls feature clear pictorial instructions. The game does not require batteries, and assembly time is limited to the few seconds it takes to slot a timer and loop onto the unit.
The noisy one-minute timer is designed to increase the pressure as each second ticks away. The player has to direct the ball along a tilting three-part walkway, use the magnet on a lever to turn the ball in a semicircle, manoeuvre the ball down two steel parallel bars, and lead it to the correct exit on a wobbly plastic board; they must then slide the ball into a small hole and bounce it into three further openings, propel the ball through a loop, guide it through a covered maze, carry it on a small plastic arm into a hole, before catapulting it accurately to ring a bell. The obstacles vary in difficulty, but players – with practice – will become adept at handling each of the hurdles. The real knack is to complete the circuit in one attempt, which requires good concentration and coordination. Screwball Scramble can be played competitively or alone, and is challenging either way. This sturdy game will provide hours of entertainment and will be a firm favourite in any household.

Orders received after 1pm may still be processed that day and delivered within 3 working days but in most instances will not be processed until the next working day and then delivered within 3 working days from then. This time frame is a guide and unfortunately not always achiavable.

In store purchases
Products purchased in store are not eligible for our standard online delivery services and are not free if £39.99 or over. Availability of, and prices for delivery of in store purchases will vary depending on the items purchased and store purchased from. Delivery for items purchased in store is also limited to the local area of the store the item is purchased from and these items are not eligible for delivery to Northern Scotland, Highlands & Isles delivery zones.
A member of staff in store will be able to advise on the availability, price and timescale of delivery for items purchased in store.
14 days to change your mind
Within the first 14 days of your item being delivered you may decide to return it to us for any reason. If you do we will refund the cost of the item and your initial delivery charge.
Some items are excluded from this policy, and any item returned must be in a resalable condition.
Faulty items
If you discover your product to be faulty within the first 30 days of purchase, please contact us and we will be able to arrange the return of your parcel, for a full refund of your purchase cost, including initial postage price. If you send the product back to us, we will also cover the cost of your return postage to the value of £10.
